TEIV: European directive on interoperability
The TEIV (Trans-European Railway Interoperability Ordinance) merges the ordinance on the Interoperability of the Trans-European High-Speed Railway System (EIV) and the ordinance on the Interoperability of the Conventional Trans-European Railway System (KonVEIV). At the same time, the EC 2004/50/EC guideline transfer to national law with the TEIV. The TEIV outlines the application of the TSI (Technical Specification on Interoperability) and describes the general licensing conditions Europe-wide.
