Legal security in electronic correspondence
The German Digital Signature Act ("SigG" in German) sets the framework conditions for secure electronic signatures and therefore provides the prerequisite for the legally binding nature of correspondence which is sent and received electronically. TÜViT checks to see whether products for qualified electronic signatures correspond to the law and issues corresponding certificates. As the recognized confirmation center of the Federal Network Agency, the certificate is recognized nationally and internationally.
