Functional safety in focus
The manufacturers or operators of safety-oriented systems or components have to prove that their devices and systems fulfil functional safety requirements. For this, requirements are made of Safety Management and the relevant phases of the safety life cycle. TÜV NORD SysTec investigates and evaluates this as an independent test centre.
In doing so we act in accordance with industry-related standardised requirements such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, ISO 26262, IEC 61800-5-2, EN 50126 etc. These require needs-based, process-oriented quality management to ensure that the product life cycle guarantees safety-oriented systems or components and meets business needs.
