Occupational integration management
Labour force reloaded
The increasing intensification of work along with the demographic change amid the simultaneous thinning of medical and rehabilitative care structures result in an increasing quantity of health hazards and thus, a growing number of staff on sick leave. From a medical perspective, there is a frequent lack of prompt or adequate therapeutic measures, which mostly results in necessarily prolonged inability to work.
According to §84 of the German Social Code SGB IX, employers are required to provide company reintegration management to employees who are incapable of working for more than six weeks at a time or in repeated instances within one year.
Certified disability management
MEDITÜV employs medical professionals who have been trained as "Certified Disability Managers" according to the specifications of the German Federation of Institutions for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention. They pursue the objective of keeping people healthy and employable, or promoting their rehabilitation process in accordance with the specifications set forth by the German Federal Ministry of Health. However, this does not only apply to severely disabled people.
To accomplish this, they utilise the existing company employees (e.g. employee's representative, health care manager) and structures (e.g. company-facilitated sports activities, company health insurance fund) as well as the existing or conceivable specific potentials.
