Test chamber analyses
When constructing or renovating rooms, different materials are used in floor coverings, adhesives, paints, construction materials or furniture . These materials can have negative effects on users. The materials can be tested in specially developed test chambers to determine whether they satisfy the relevant requirements.
We have several test chambers for different requirements and conduct these types of tests.
What sets us apart?
There are optimized test chambers available for the different measurement tasks. With our 1 m³ test chambers, tests can be conducted, e.g. on large components; smaller samples can also be tested with 5-litre chambers or test cells. Glass or stainless steel is used as material for the chamber.
We have many years of experience in developing and applying test chamber procedures. An experienced team made up of chemists, engineers and technicians conducts the chemical analysis and its evaluation in our very own Institute for Chemistry and Environmental Protection.
We have the respective accreditation/certifications and regularly take part in intralaboratory tests to attest to our performance.
If necessary, we can involve specialists from various disciplines from the entire TÜV NORD Group.
