Boiler optimisation
Boiler installations are thermal systems for generating steam, hot or warm water. A distinction is made between the following media in these types of installations: Feed water, boiler water, steam, condensation, hot and warm water. Optimised processing and chemical treatment as well as maintaining optimal operating conditions for this media guarantee cost-effective operations, a high level of system availability and a long system service life.
By giving optimum care to the boiler water, operators have an important control variable at their disposal to prevent damage and extend the service life of their system. The cost-effectiveness of operating the boilers is also improved through increased availability.
We inspect your boiler water and support you in guaranteeing safe and efficient operation of your steam boiler installation and in reducing corrosion and deposits, thus lowering costs and risks. If necessary, we can provide effective recommendations for action you can take.
What sets us apart?
An experienced team made up of chemists, engineers and technicians analyses and evaluates water samples in our very own Institute for Chemistry and Environmental Protection.
Working together with the TÜV NORD Academy, we offer basic, intermediate and refresher courses for boiler monitors as well as system-specific instruction. The seminar "Boiler feed water processing with hands-on component" reinforces the knowledge of boiler monitors and operating engineers. We also offer in-house training courses on specific topics.
What services do we offer?
- We supply the evidence documenting whether a feed and boiler water meets the requirements in hot water generation systems.
- We optimize water-related system operation for specific systems.
- We determine the quality of the steam or condensation (steam purity test).
- We assess damage on the water and steam side.
