Further professional education may be financed through ARGEn if certain prerequisites are met
The subsidizing of the professional further education should significantly improve your placement chances. An assessment is made of your own knowledge, capabilities, skills and your previous background. Your physical and psychological fitness are also taken into consideration. Based on these factors, the ARGE will decide whether remedying deficiencies in your qualifications can lead to professional integration. The important factors for this are the needs of the job market and your willingness to relocate. The long-term goal is re-integration into the first job market.
Requirements for a subsidy
Financing of continued education then becomes possible if the further education is needed for your professional integration when you are unemployed or to ward off impending unemployment or if the need for further education is recognized due to a lack of professional certification. However, the decision about the subsidy is up to the individual ARGEs. To assess whether you need further education due to a lack of qualification, it is necessary to consult with the ARGE early on. Within the framework of this consultation, your questions about further professional education are discussed and the requirements for a subsidy are explained. A consultation is not always enough for checking the eligibility requirements. Under certain circumstances a medical or psychological examination may be required.
Since there are numerous financing aids that the ARGEs can use individually, we will briefly introduce you to the main aid used in further professional education.
Educational voucher
If the prerequisites for a subsidy are met, you will receive an educational voucher, which is used to regulate the acceptance of the costs of further education and the continued payment of the unemployment compensation II. The educational voucher can have an expiry date or be limited to a region or to specific education goals. During the validity period of the educational voucher, you can select one of our certified measures. A copy of the educational voucher must be submitted to the ARGE within the validity period and before your participation in a class.
Naturally, we have the necessary acknowledgements for a subsidy. We are not only certified as per Din EN ISO 9001 / 2000, we also have the certification as a company as per the recognition and certification ordinance for further education (AZWV).
