TÜV NORD SysTec offers a wide range of engineering services in the business field of energy and system technology. This means over 50 years of qualified involvement on behalf of the German nuclear energy authority as an assessor for the construction, safe operation, decommissioning and safe removal of nuclear power plants, their components and fuels.
In the testing business, customers are primarily interested in non-destructive testing of materials, the mathematical preliminary testing of components, the test laboratories and certification organisations for wind energy, rail technology, software and control technology. Another area of business is the further development of safety technology in research projects and cooperation in the framing of standards and regulations. The company’s international involvement is being extended in connection with the development of nuclear technology abroad in conjunction with the sister company TÜV NORD EnSys under the name TÜV NORD Nuclear.
